This is a whimsical dreamscape of a book—the world depicted in Water Moon is gorgeous and complex. For how much whimsy and silliness this book had, it also contained so much depth. The conversation on choices and regrets and the ways in which they shape your being was done masterfully.
Emily Henry strikes again! We all loooved this book. A book about books?? How could you not?
4.75 Stars! I really enjoyed this book from start to finish—it followed a similar structure to Phantasma (i.e. rounds of games and trials), but definitely still felt unique. And it was chalk full of my favorite tropes: Enemies to lovers, forced proximity, games and trials, he falls first, lost memories and bargains with a devil. 👌
