The Farseer Trilogy
⭐⭐⭐
Too long and anticlimactic.
Some original concepts and very interesting magic! Deep character development, but overall unsatisfying.
While this trilogy was interesting enough to hold my attention, getting through them was arduous. In my opinion, this author spends too much time on things that do not advance the plot. The answers to the questions that kept me intrigued were answered at the very end in about 20 pages. I thought to myself “oh, that was it?”. If those answers had been teased and revealed more throughout the story it might have helped, but I have to say that I’m not inclined to continue reading more of Hobb’s works.
