Just plain fun!

I had so much fun reading this book! The writing is light and sarcastic, I loved how awkward the characters were. I’m also a sucker for dual POV!

I deducted a star because there were a few areas where the dialog just didn’t quite have the punch I was looking for, and I can’t say the big “why is the villain the villian” reveal hit the mark for me. 1 month?! That’s it?! I mean if it had been more like 2 years or something, I’d be all in. (If you know you know).

Overall I found the story very charming and at no point did I want to stop reading. I’ve been in a pattern of reading super in depth epic romantasies and was feeling a little “fae-ed out”. This was the perfect series to cure that hangover!

It’s a bit of a cliffhanger ending, so I’m moving on to book 2 immediately!

Definitely will recommend this one!
