Coming back to this series after an extended break was a little tough. I had to get back into the rhythm and writing style, and it struck me as a lot cheesier than I remembered. Haha. Not necessarily a bad thing — these books are light and funny and goofy, so it fits that mold perfectly. Looking forward to listening to the next one to get in our obligatory training montage with Jessie and Sebastian! 😆
